Mbroh COO Represents Mbroh at City of Beaumont DBE Transit Forum
Mbroh Chief Operating Officer James “Brooks” Schultze attended the City of Beaumont’s Transit Contracting Forum on September 19, an event held for certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) and small businesses to match with prime contractors.
Among attendees were other firms exploring DBE certification, City of Beaumont Transit, Port Arthur Transit and the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission (SETRPC). The forum featured briefings on upcoming procurements, advice on doing business with local transit agencies, matchmaking with agency buyers and contractors, and guidance tables for DBEs.
Schultze had the opportunity to meet with prime companies as Mbroh’s representative, with the company now registered as a vendor of services to the City of Beaumont. Schultze reflected that it was an excellent opportunity to converse with other DBEs and prospective DBEs, who are all focused on keeping small, disadvantaged businesses in transit. Thank you to the City of Beaumont for this successful, collaborative event!
