Opstoberfest 2025: Karaoke, Barbecue and Networking
The Mbroh Dallas team enjoyed a full Friday of karaoke, barbecue, cornhole and networking at the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT) North Texas Opstoberfest on October 10.
Opstoberfest is held every fall in Arlington, Texas and features water engineering companies throughout the North Texas area. The outdoor venue featured multiple tents set up for networking with fellow professionals while sharing barbecue, company merchandise and work stories. The event also featured a dinner with dishes from each tent, as well as contests for meat dishes, desserts, kids costumes and more.
Best Dessert went to Team Mbroh for the “Million Dollar Pie” submission by senior designer Josh Roach, who received a trophy that is now on display in the Mbroh Dallas office.
Per tradition, the Mbroh tent featured karaoke that rang throughout the venue, inviting anyone to swing by and sing a song of their choice. On top of karaoke, the team shared multiple homemade goods from elote to jalapeno poppers with visitors throughout the day.
With another successful Opstoberfest in the books, we look forward to the rest of the fall season with our fellow engineers!
