Mbroh Leadership Attend TWA Annual Conference in Fort Worth

Mbroh President and CEO Tony Mbroh alongside James “Brooks” Schultze, COO, recently attended the Texas Water Association’s (TWA) annual conference in Fort Worth, Texas from March 11 to March 13.

TWA hosted water stakeholders from Texas for three days of programs, speakers and networking opportunities. The conference featured discussions on water infrastructure and quality, cloud computing, federal affairs and more.

Keynote speakers included Rep. Ramon Romero, Jr. of Texas House District 90; Col. Calvin A. Kroeger, Commander U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE); Ashley Morgan, Member of the Texas Water Development Board; Morgan Johnson, Commissioner of the Public Utility Commission of Texas; and Scott Mason, Regional Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) South Central.

Tony and Brooks had the opportunity to meet with several engineering professionals across the state, including Rob Newman, environmental scientist at Freese and Nichols; Jennifer Cottingham, PE, Water Principal at LJA Engineering; Melinda Silva, PE, Principal Project Manager at Gannett Fleming; Gary Westbrook, General Manager at Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District (POSGCD); Colonel Calvin A. Kroger, Commander at USACE; Mandy McGuire, Director of the Regional Planning and Environmental Center at USACE; Derek Gaudlitz, Chairman of the Board at San Antonio River Authority; and more.
