Barry Gentz, Mbroh Engineering Manager, Instructor for GMRC Workshop

Barry Gentz, PE, Engineering Manager for Mbroh Engineering, will serve as an instructor for an upcoming workshop sponsored by the Gas Machinery Research Council (GMRC). Titled “Factors in Compression Station Design,” the three-day learning event scheduled for April 5-7 is available to attendees either in-person or virtually and will total 20 Professional Development Hours (PDH). Barry will lead the electrical and automation portions of the workshop.

According to the website, “attendees will learn the key differences between reciprocating and centrifugal compressors and associated equipment, how to size and select them, and when each is the ideal technology to install. Pros and cons, including financial implications of each technology, will be viewed through the lens of real-world case studies.”

Barry presents alongside industry professionals Josh Shaver (LJA Engineering), Joe Avila (J-W Power Company), Misty Ingle (Alfa Laval) and Jay LeBlanc (Ariel Corporation).
