Mbroh Attends 98th Annual TxDOT Transportation Short Course
Mbroh’s Kari Cai, PE, attended the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) 98th annual Transportation Short Course alongside engineers from all across Texas this Oct. 7 – Oct. 9 at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. The event featured technical presentations covering construction, engineering, design, environmental impact, future technology, project development, and more across multiple sessions during the three-day event.
Some events that Kari attended include “Innovative Intersections,” a Roundabout and Alternative Intersection Design (RAID) Team Update by TxDOT panelists discussing “the cutting edge of intersection design” through TxDOT’s advancements in planning, designing, and engaging the public. Another session featured a discussion with TxDOT’s Deputy Executive Director for Planning and Administration Brandye Hendrickson, who previously served as Former Deputy Administrator of the United States Federal Highway Administration. Hendrickson’s session highlighted innovative ideas and processes currently in progress at TxDOT.
We look forward to TxDOT’s future innovations and how Mbroh can continue to serve as a key player in the traffic engineering sector.
