
Mbroh COO Attends SAME Luncheon featuring TxDOT
Mbroh COO James “Brooks” Schultze attended the Dallas Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Chapter luncheon on Jan. 21 featuring briefings from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Dallas District.
The event covered current and projected contracting levels, along with some prominent current and future TxDOT planning projects. TxDOT Dallas District’s lead planner Grace Lo, PE, spoke about the newly revised TxDOT design manual, along with new guidance for roundabout traffic intersections and their consideration in lieu of multi-directional, lighted signal-based intersections.
Brooks had the opportunity to meet with engineering leaders from public and private sectors, including STV, Gannett-Fleming and Dallas County Public Works.
