Mbroh Houston Area Client Officer Raises $4,000 in Local Art Auction for WEAT Southeast Texas
We are pleased to report that the Inaugural WEAT Southeast Texas “Water Our Way” charity art auction on November 14, 2024 raised $4,000!
Spearheaded by Veronica Weaver-Rivers, PE, PMP, Mbroh’s Houston Area Client Officer, the event featured art from 25 local artists exploring the theme of water. Proceeds from the event funded a scholarship endowment fund for students in water and environmental education.
All event sponsors also received a water-themed artwork to display in their corporate offices as part of the auction. As a Pearl-level sponsor, Mbroh received the 36″x36″ artwork “Pools of Silence” created by community artist Alex Satira, which will be displayed in our Oklahoma City office.
Mbroh had two artists representing their pieces for the event. Sponsored by Mbroh, Veronica created her own piece titled “A Beautiful Mo(u)rning,” which will be displayed in one of Pape-Dawson Engineers’ offices. Additionally, Kaylin Alexander, daughter of Mbroh CAO Sara DeMark, contributed her piece “Abundance vs. Lack” at the event.
