Save the Date: March 8, WEAT SE Joint Section Meeting and EC&I Committee Meeting
On Friday, March 8, 2024 at 11:00 am, join Mbroh’s Veronica Weaver-Rivers, PE, PMP, Houston Area Client Officer and Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT) South Texas Section (SETX) Electrical Instrumentation and Controls (EIC) Committee Chair, for a facility tour and technical presentation at Endress+Hauser’s Pearland campus. Endress+Hauser and Vector CAG are excited to present on current and emerging automation trends in the water / wastewater industry, and give a tour of their Process Training Unit, laboratory, and calibration facility. This event led by WEAT SETX will highlight and increase awareness and knowledge of EIC in the water/wastewater industry.
Attendees will learn about emerging water/wastewater automation trends from Vector technical staff and discuss contemporary issues such as PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). We’ll round out the day with a 45-minute tour of Vector’s facility, to include calibration rigs, a testing lab, and other process units.
