Texas Water Recap: Awards, Featured Panels, and More for Mbroh

The Mbroh team had an eventful time at this year’s Texas Water Convention as a bronze sponsor, a naming sponsor for the Ops Challenge, and an award recipient during the 31st annual convention in San Antonio, Texas.

Texas Water is the largest regional water convention in the U.S., co-hosted by the Texas Section of the American Water Works Association (TAWWA) and the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT). The event is an opportunity to connect with professionals across the water engineering industry and learn more about the industry, companies, vendors and suppliers.

The Mbroh team was honored by TAWWA as the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) recipient in the conference awards celebration, given to an “individual or organization that establishes and environment that effectively creates diverse methods for access to water.” The ceremony noted Mbroh’s foundational commitment to cultural, educational and gender diversity in the workplace since its inception 20 years ago.

Mbroh’s Chief Marketing Officer Lindsey Kubes, CPSM, was also featured as a panelist at the People of Water panel titled “Texas Two Step: Showcasing Voices in the Water Industry.” Other panelists included Tanya Miro of Kimley Horn & Associates and Greg Wukasch of San Antonio Water System (SAWS) with panelist Dedra Ecklund of Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam.

Participants of Texas Water’s Ops Challenge also received new Mbroh and conference-branded windbreakers featuring the company’s 20th anniversary logo.

We appreciate the opportunity to meet with fellow water professionals in the industry and look forward to Texas Water 2027 in Houston!
