Women of Color Expo Celebrates Inspiring Professional Voices in OKC

The Mbroh Oklahoma City team spent the day celebrating local female professionals of color at the 2026 Women of Color Expo on Saturday, April 18.

Mbroh was the Centerpiece Sponsor for the event, featuring elegant table displays and “swag bags” for attendees. The expo offered the opportunity for women of color in all professions to meet, discuss their career journeys, discover local opportunities, uplift one another and celebrate their many successes. The event also included awards and featured outstanding local professionals like Entrepreneur of the Year Tonjua Whetstone of T-Stone LLC, Educator of the Year Charlotte Jackson and Lifetime Achievement award recipient Marylin Luper-Hildreth. Luper-Hildreth is the daughter of Clara Luper, an civil rights era leader who led sit-ins at Oklahoma City lunch counters in 1958.
