Dallas Office Enjoys Friendly Pickleball Competition at Preston Playhouse
The Mbroh Dallas team enjoyed an office outing to Preston Playhouse on July 28 to enjoy friendly rounds of pickleball among coworkers.
Pickleball is a paddle sport utilizing a hollow plastic ball for play, with rules similar to a combination of tennis, volleyball and ping pong. Preston Playhouse features several courts designed for playing pickleball, paddleball and ping pong available for rent to individuals and teams.
The outing started as simple practice as players got used to the game rules, before evolving into a bracket-style tournament between three teams. The tournament’s official winners were SCADA Inspector Hossein Targhi, PE, and IT Administrator Nels Cobbey.
As a company, Mbroh encourages these frequent team outings as a way for staff to get to know one another outside of the office and enjoy their work-life balance, which in turn fosters a healthy working culture among peers. We look forward to the next outing soon!
