The ASIPS electrical system provides power to the ASIPS motors, Building #20, two panels, four sludge pumps of primary clarifiers 13-16, and the flow metering vault. Mbroh provided design services to replace the existing medium-voltage MCC with ten medium-voltage motors and a 480-volt switchboard. As part of the upgrade, the Mbroh team replaced the four eddy current clutches and their associated controllers with new Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), a more advanced and efficient technology.
