Snowball Express Event Benefits Families of U.S. Military Service Members and First Responders
Mbroh COO James “Brooks” Schultze, PE, spent the afternoon of Saturday, December 6 attending an important cause as both an engineering company representative and U.S. Army Veteran at the American Airlines Snowball Express event in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Snowball Express, fully named the Gary Sinise Foundation Snowball Express, is in its 20th year as an event dedicated to honoring the families of both fallen U.S. military service members and first responders, according to the American Airlines website. American Airlines donates charter aircrafts and air miles to more than 2,600 family members destined for the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL.
Families traveled from 29 departure cities across the world on December 6 and 13, with more than 1,000 American Airlines team members volunteering to facilitate the event. Schultze reflected on the event, “It was great to see so many cheerful volunteers full of the Christmas spirit to support these families.”
