TxDOT’s PEPS Conference Provides Insight on Texas Transportation Services
Several Mbroh professionals had excellent opportunities to fuel their professional growth and network with fellow engineers at the 2025 Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) Professional Engineering Procurement Services (PEPS) Conference from Monday, December 8 to Wednesday, December 10.
The event provided insight and updates on the TxDOT procurement processes to the consultant community from TxDOT’s districts and divisions. Traffic Engineer Kari Cai, PE; Roadway Engineer Harsh Patel, PE; Quality Assurance Manager Corey Rosenthal; and Mbroh COO James “Brooks” Schultze, PE, took advantage of their time at the conference to attend keynotes, breakout sessions and guest speaker panels all about TxDOT.
Keynote speaker Chet Garner, a creator, executive producer and writer, kicked off the first day. Guest Speakers included Texas Transportation Commissioner Alejandro “Alex” Meade and Senior Director of Project Development Mohamed “Mo” Bur, while opening remarks and closing sessions were hosted by PEPS Division Director Martin Rodin and PEPS Deputy Division Director Lucio Vasquez.
