City of Pflugerville Water Treatment Plant Expansion

This project increased the capacity of the City’s water treatment plant from 17.7 MGD to 30 MGD. The expansion design included membrane filters, a lake pump station, new high-service pump stations, chemical facilities, and pretreatment plants. Mbroh’s responsibilities were extensive, overseeing the SCADA and control system design of these key components. The design also incorporated a new PLC cabinet and the integration of all existing and new field IO to the PLC, system architecture, and specifications for instrumentation and controls.
